New Waves on the Press Amid the Pandemic

Monthly, GetCraft hosts events where we invite industry experts to give marketers and creators tips, tricks, and actionable tactics to address trends, opportunities, and challenges in their respective market in this time.

This September 29, we have invited Ariel Sebellino, Executive Director of Philippine Press Institute to tackle the changes in the field of media.

The pandemic has paralysed most industries, and the media sphere is no stranger to this. With the sudden shift to mainly digital platforms, how did COVID-19 affect and change this field? We’d like to find out what steps journalists took to adjust to this new normal.

Some guide questions we hope to tackle are below:

(+) How has COVID-19 affected media outlets' business processes?

(+) What are its effects in the future?

(+) In the current landscape, what are the issues journalists are facing and how can they overcome these?

(+) Where is the media and journalism industry headed?

(+) What type of content are in-demand?

(+) How do you cope with the disruption caused by the pandemic and lockdown? Did you discover new best practices?

What’s a Rich Text element?

The rich text element allows you to create and format headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, images, and video all in one place instead of having to add and format them individually. Just double-click and easily create content.

Static and dynamic content editing

A rich text element can be used with static or dynamic content. For static content, just drop it into any page and begin editing. For dynamic content, add a rich text field to any collection and then connect a rich text element to that field in the settings panel. Voila!

How to customize formatting for each rich text

Headings, paragraphs, blockquotes, figures, images, and figure captions can all be styled after a class is added to the rich text element using the "When inside of" nested selector system.
